The Taste Of Britain Annual British Car Fayre was held on Saturday September 11th in historic downtown Norcross. The weather was superb for the gathering of a fine collection of vintage British automobiles. Sixty-five British cars and their owners came out for a day of fun and fellowship.
In addition to the Car Fayre, folks enjoyed a traditional British lunch of meat pies, sausage rolls and crisps, prepared by the Taste Of Britain staff. And as always, everyone enjoyed browsing through Taste Of Britain where they could pick up their favourite British foods and gifts.
At day's end, four cars were selected as favourites:
People's Choice Winner - Skip Smith with a perfect red 1958 Jaguar XK150
People's Choice runners-up - Marvin Sikes and Ellis Carlton, each with a beautiful 1952 MGTD, one in red and the other yellow.
Edna's Choice (owner of Taste Of Britain) - Carlos Sandoval with a stunning 1958 Bentley S-1.
